We're not the only ones!!! There are other people out there who buy stuff at ikea and tamper with it. So many great ideas. I think I will submit one of our own. I rewired lamps for the wall in our bedroom. Makes sense, don't you think?

the iPhone is here...almost!

I'm truly geeking out over this one. The apple iPhone is everything they said it would be. It will be launched in the US in June - who knows if it will be available in Canada - but I really would like to have this toy!

Recently, I was part of a photoshoot to get images for the new Astral Media Intranet. They made me do silly things. I look funny. But the guy said I was photogenic!

xmas party number 1

On Saturday we went to a lovely party at Jenni and Scott's place. They had a table filled with goodies and a nice Christmas tree and an aloof but very cute dog named Ferris. A good time was had by all!

echo loves her teletoon chinese takeout

Today we got these great little Chinese takeout boxes that teletoon had made to promote their new shows and new look for 2007. Echo really liked the box. I wouldn't let her have it, but I thought she looked darn cute holding it for me!

Okay - I'm a big nerd! I set up a dogster page for Echo. She doesn't know, or care, but it's kinda fun.

A great blog that I read is called dooce...It's got some great photos and some links to some really weird stuff. Kinda like what I'd like to do if it were the only thing I did. She actually makes money by selling ad space on that thing! She has a lot of readers.

new blogger beta

Blogger has released a new version - called a beta, since it's still under development - and it allows me to do some new funky things. One of them, is this new internet thing that's all the rage, which is called tagging. Basically, it allows you to link all related items together so they can be accessed with one click.
If you'd like to try it out, just click on the video label under the post below this one. I've tagged all the posts I have with videos to watch, so you can now see all of them on one page. It's a little like having my own version of youTube! Well, not quite...
I look forward to playing some more. I think there are some layout things I can do now too. Maybe I'll add a coat of paint or rearrange the furniture a little.

our supermodel

Last week we were at the dog park and the weather was getting crazy...there was a storm a-brewing! Anyway, Echo got a little spooked by some flashes which she probably thought was lighting, but that we realized was a photographer taking pics of a model at the edge of the park. We took Echo over to show her that the flashes were not lightning, and we could play a bit more - she totally stops playing when she's scared of lightning. When we got over there, the photographer asked us if he could borrow Echo for a few shots with the model! How exciting! So now we have this great shot of Echo for her own portfolio...We hope it doesn't go to her head.

For those of you who feel you need to add a little flavour to your life...you might want to check out the Condiment Museum! There are images of all kinds of condiment packets, from Fancy Ketchup to Chicken McCrispy Sauce. Mmmm...

So since my plan is to keep all negative things out of this blog, I'll have to counter that last entry with a very cute picture of Echo! She just seems to make everything else okay...
